Transparent Wireless TCP/IP Gateway Application v1.013

The Transparent Wireless TCP / IP Gateway Application provides a transparent TCP / IP
interface for sending data from various field equipment to a server, eliminating the need for
other devices for controlling the connection, like a PLS.

The default configuration is a TCP / IP client and set up a transparent socket interface
between the server and the field equipment. When the field equipment produces data on the
serial port, the gateway application will buffer the data, automatically set up a GPRS berarer
and establish a TCP / IP socket connection to a server and deliver the data. The connection is
kept open until the communication timeout is reached. The communication timeout timer is
reset each time data are sent over the interface, in either direction.

Server configuration are also supported, the gateway application will then wait for an
incomming connection to establish the transparent interface, while the other functionality is
similar to the client configuration. If the connection fails, the data can be sent as SMS to

the server as well.

Customization and extentions:

The gateway application can easily be customized or extended to support specific features,
protocols, operation mode or other fuctionality. For example to send data to serveral servers,
or other data carrier protocols like FTP, HTTP, WebServices or Mail (SMTP / POP3).

iJaz Modem

Specialized solution for remote control using SMS of the BEHA iJaz power control solution.

Primary use is to remotly activate normal or powersave mode of the BEHA iJaz power system using SMS. It can also send power up notifications to a recipient list to indicate that a power loss has occured. External systems like a temperature sensor, fluid level sensor, alarm systems etc. can be connected to indicate normal condition or special events using a digital signal.

It contains an internal recipiant list of up to 5 recipiants stored on the SIM card. All configurations and setup is done using SMS.
